I am currently covered in oil based primer and my head is spinning. I can't wait to be done with this bathroom project. I haven't been as diligent as I should have been.0

Happy New Year everyone! Bumping for January where I will be able to participate officially! Baby comes on the 14th, so I'm coming down the home stretch. I do have to say I thoroughly enjoyed not being hungover yesterday though. I am hoping to moderate my drinking a bit more in 2015.0

I managed a hangover... I think it was the champagne at midnight. Before that, I had a white wine, gin fizz and maybe 4 beers.
Wed=7 drinks
Thurs=1 (bloody mary at brunch)
I have no plans this weekend so I don't know if I will be drinking much at all...

My plan was to paint the bathroom first coat of color today. However, my arms are so sore from yesterday I have decided to do it tomorrow. I will chill and enjoy the last of my home made egg nog today.

painting is tough work, robin! I painted my son's room and our office a while back and swore I'd never do it again. (we have super high ceilings)
We got all the Christmas stuff put away and the house is back to normal...it feels good.
Just printed the kid's boarding pass for his flight back tomorrow. He's off with his buddies for the night. It's been a great couple of weeks. I'm going to miss him but I think it's getting a little easier on me...I'm actually looking forward to getting back into my routine again. Remind me of that when it's March and I'm missing him like crazy

So, it's a stormy Sunday evening. Our boarder (a whole other story) is away for the evening. Time to put on a romantic comedy "Take Me Home". Turn down the lights. Get a cocktail and snuggle up on the couch. Life is great!0

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had a fabulous time!!!! Went downtown and saw a concert new years eve, then meet up with SIL and BIL for brunch new years day, then proceeded to drink all day. Friday morning, up bright and early and cleaned up the house and moved furniture out of the office while Lenny went hunting. Saturday, we painted the office with drinks in our hands (of course), yesterday put the office back together and continued to eat and drink too much. Today is a new day and we are looking forward to some sober and healthy eating days ahead!!!!!!!!!!!

ugh. First day back to work has me dragging. I couldn't sleep at all last night. yesterday was a zero. I don't think it will be zero today.

Tuesday-3 tropical punch vodkas with sprite zero....the real estate agent was at the house for 3 HOURS....3 HOURS!!! The first hour was business, then Lenny offered him a couple beers and well I wasn't gonna sit around and not drink while they were so Everything went really well and we are confident that we will get what we are looking for!!!!

So I have discovered that Bodi does so much better with his back legs if I actually take him out for a walk instead of just playing in the back yard. so I do a bunch of litlle 30 second sprints because he loves to run. I actually got to sleep last night. So I guess good exersize si really the key Doh!
I had one little vodka before bed.

Oh Robin, it is very difficult! We made the decision almost a year ago and have just over one year to go! But we know waiting and saving is the smartest thing to do, but god I can't wait for 80 degrees everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday-Len convinced me to go to happy hour so 1 flight (24oz) and 1/2 melomel back at the house. Not too shabby AND we still made it to the gym this morning!!!
Tonight, We will probably have some cocktails.
We were supposed to go out to dinner for my dad's bday tomorrow but plans changed and we are having my parents, brother and his family over for homemade pizza, wine and manhattans! I am excited. I love hosting...cause I am a control freak but most importantly I can drink as much as I want and not have to worry about driving :bigsmile:
