I am 284, and wonder what 240 looks like.
I am so thankful Armbarnation put this together, and I look forward to reaching our goals together.
Look out 2015, we are dropping pounds all over the place.

  • At the end of last year I was at 130 lbs, now I'm at a scary 160 lbs! My goal is to get back to my 130 lbs weight before my wedding. I've always been very athletic but recently I've just been working so much and have completely neglected exercising and eating correctlybecause I've been so involved in my professional life and trying to get to the next level. I need to get back to finding the right balance for me with my diet and exercise.

    You will do great.
You are one of the most motivated people I know. You work like crazy to make Armbarnation fun and exciting, and with 7 Generations, and others.
I am sure you will hit your goal weight before you even realize it.
  • Thanks John, I hope so! I am starting this year with 7 different 30-day challenges: squarts, burpees, pushups, abs, butt, plank, and arms. I'm expecting to see some good changes in 30 days from now. I've always been very athletic, I just lost my way this past year.
  • Looks like you guys are a bit late to the party. That's okay, though. I started tracking my food using this site 500+ days ago and have lost 88 lbs. This is all without significantly altering my exercise routine. In fact, I didn't start to get more active until I broke 220 lbs (so after the first 50 lbs lost). It takes time, but is totally doable.

Hi there everyone. I been on myfitnesspal before but have relapsed, I'm 209lbs and would love to get to about 165lbs. Looking for help.
  • Nice to meet you Whitetail24. I'm new to using the app, but so far, so good! I was in Vegas for New Years Eve and a work event, and I am finally on my way back home this afternoon. I'm looking forward to really kicking my workout routine into high gear tomorrow and dropping some lbs for my wedding in June.

Hi everyone! I'm Sarah from Pittsburgh, PA.

I'm doing my first half marathon in May and am training for that. One of my favorite cross training workouts is an MMA-style workout called Tapout XT, and I also like playing (dek/floor) hockey! Looking to lose about 10 lbs, or to look leaner in my stomach area (the actual weight # isn't as important to me as how I look/feel).

Thanks @Whitetail24 :) I appreciate that!! It is helping me to have a running schedule and have long runs with my running group on Saturdays. I know I have to keep it up during the week so I can manage the long runs. Good luck to you as well.. seems you are off to a great start in the new year!
