I am new to this group, and thought I'd post a challenge for today as I haven't seen any recently- hope that's okay! :)

For today, let's share 3 things you are working on today that your future self will thank you for-obviously, this will vary for each of us.

Mine are:
I'm going to walk 10,000 steps today (got a new fitbit I'm using)
I packed my lunch today instead of eating out with coworkers
I'm going to drink at least 10 cups of water

Your turn- let's motivate each other! :)

    Hi there! I just joined too. Here are mine:

    Eat a salad for lunch everyday
    Drink at least 64 ounces of water each day
    Get to the gym 4x each week
  • Use my new NINJA to make a healthy juice with fresh organic veggies every morning. (Screw old-style juicing, omg this thing is so much easier to clean!)
    Try to say no to carbs! (*cries*)
    Hit the gym more often.
    Drink more water.

    Tracking with my food diary
    Making it to the gym today (and at least 2-3 times/week)
    With-staining from alcohol for 1 month
  • Hitting the gym at least 2 times a week (not including Zumba)
    Kick my snacking issue
    Staying Focused

    i will:

    continue my food diary entries
    walk 15k steps at least 6 days a week (maybe 7 most weeks)
    continue my 5x5 stronglifts (lifting 27 pounds now) working my way up slowly with this last one...
  • Thanks, great way to start! I'm signing in a day late but:
    1 drink 10 glasses water
    2 plan meals for the week
    3 exercise for an hour

    Great idea to get us newbies started:
    1.) walk 10,000 steps/day with my fitbit
    2.) track all meals on the diary so I know where I stand each day and can adjust
    3.) drink 64 ounces of water each day

    Reduce sugar.
    Reduce carbs.
    30 mins of activity

    Love this challenge!
    1. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, 4 days a week.
    2. Track my calorie intake in my fitness diary.
    3. Drink 64 oz of water daily.

    1. Pack mylunch everyday I work and make healthy dinners
    2.Actually eat a small breakfast (get that metabolism going!)
    3. Increase my water consumption (no more soda!)
  • January Resolutions:
    1. Pack lunch everyday
    2. Eat a little something for breakfast
    3. Make it to Curves at least 3x's a week

    I thought it would be best to start with a smaller time frame than jump into a whole new year. I am hoping that if I do this, I can make new ones each month while keeping the previous ones.
