Life changes and weird dreams

Hey everyone. I had a weird dream last night and was wondering how many of you have had similar ones. It's January 4th, so it's the 3rd day of my Whole 30 and a challenge group on Facebook.
Last night, I dreamt that I had completely ruined my diet on crappy school cafeteria food. It was really wierd. To make it even weirder, the school food somehow cost me over $20 for one meal! I was looking at the bill, and there was a charge for a $6 piece of cake that I hadn't ordered. I went to find someone to fix the error, and then, somehow, it turned out that the school cafeteria was in a Wal Mart! All the managers were terrible, and I wasn't able to get my bill fixed. Then it turned into a slasher movie where everyone was trying to escape a "Texas Chainsaw" esque murder!
Anyone else had any weird ones after big life changes/decisions?
Oh, and when I told my wife about it, she said that she had a dream, last night, that she just suddenly wanted to try every fast food restaurant ever, so she went on a journey to do so!

This happens to me every time I make changes. When diet is involved I have crazy food dreams and sometimes wake up and head to the kitchen. Odd! Part of the reason I often times eat a little before bed during dieting. It helps me sleep through the night. Hate waking up in the middle of the night with a growling stomach:)0

Aren't dreams spoked to be one way we work out subconscious thoughts.....I think it's kinda cool that you remember them so well.0

I have always been able to remember large chunks of my most vivid dreams. The weird part is trying to figure out when transitions were. Like, I couldn't even begin to tell you why the cafeteria was suddenly inside a Wal Mart, or when the slasher-film type scenario started. Last night was MUCH better, though. I got a really good nights sleep, other than the fact that it was a little short, and my wife woke me up to ask for some medicine for her leg.0

This was pretty funny. I opened today's Whole30 newsletter, and it was about dreams! Very timely!
Here's the excerpt:
Food Dreams
"We’ve heard of folks dreaming about all kinds of foods – sometimes things they don’t even eat in real life! Like an Arby’s roast beef melt... Melissa dreamed about this fast-food fare during her last Whole30, and she’s never even been to an Arby’s! More food dreams from our readers:
April L: “I dreamed it was Thanksgiving and the table was full of desserts. I was just going to have a taste and it turned in to a full blown sugar weekend.”
Lindsey F: “I've been dreaming of donuts. Not even something I would usually eat, but they are tasty in my dreams.”
Ayla C: “I had a dream I was chugging glass after glass of milk.”
Often, these dreams bring on just as much guilt and remorse as if they happened in real life!
Myzsa G: “I just wish I didn't feel so guilty in my dreams about eating bad foods. I can't even enjoy binging there.”
Lori S: “Last night, I was gorging on cupcakes – but not enjoying them through the guilt!”
Badier V: “The funny thing is, I wake up feeling really guilty, until I realize that I didn't actually eat the cookie.”
So if you’re having strange dreams about gorging on non-Whole30 foods… relax! It’s totally normal, given the changes you’ve made, and it’s not indicative of a weakening of willpower. Heck, if you get the chance, enjoy those cookies, cakes, or Arby’s sandwiches, because in your dreams, those foods could make you more healthy!"0 -
Lol
I sent this email to you TJ. This whole 30 thing is kind of freaking me out0 -
Uh ... nope, can't say I've had any dreams that I could associate with my diet. In fact I can't recall ever having a dream related to food. Nor regarding any big life changes or decisions for that matter. I quickly forget my dreams after waking anyhow.0
