1. Soon as you wake up down a big glass of water to get your hydration off to a great start.
2. Next make sure you eat within 30-45 minutes of waking up so you ACTIVATE your metabolism. Unless you wake up and workout right away but make sure you eat right after the workout.
3. Eat every 3 hours, hungry or not. This gives your metabolism an advantage to burn faster. Ask yourself each time you eat where are you getting your protein from and is it enough?
4. Eat a GOOD complex carb the first half of your day. Meaning, at lunch or before- best choices are oatmeal, brown rice, lentils, sweet potato, yam, black beans, quinoa or steel cut oats. This is so you have GOOD, slow-burning energy to use all day.
