headache from workout

So yesterday during crossfit class on my last set of push-ups I got a sharp pain headache. It did go away that morning. But then this morning during class, we did a few push-ups during warm up and as soon as I started my headache came back. I made it through class and took some anacin when I got home. I'm not holding my breathe during the reps so not sure what's going on? Related to whole30 or just over exertion?

    I'd be tempted to talk to a medical professional, to be honest. I wouldn't like to take a wild guess at what it might be.

    Id advise the same, esp as its new. Doesnt sound like a regular tension headache. May well be related to over-exertion or possibly the bending forwards? That can make some types of headache worse. Good luck! x

    I sometimes get headaches right after a heavy lift or after a lot of upside down types of motions.

    Agree with the others. If it's happening only at moments of peak exertion, get yourself checked out by a pro.
