What does everyone think about the cost of gym membership in town?

    I personally think that they are so expensive! I ideally want a gym where I can go to classes, or use facilities but without necessary using an actual gym, usually in January where it's almost impossible to get on an equipment anyway!

    as a pensioner I can't afford it - so exercise at home in bad weather and walk when not too wet or windy.
