I used a stationary bike today and I was wearing my fitbit. After damn near 1 hr of doing that and walking on a treadmill it still had me at negative calories. I'm confused. Should I log the biking on mfp? I have heard log everything but walking. Please clarify. Thanks in advance.

I have tried to log, but at least on the phone app, minutes and calories are required, which leads to double-logging every time. Deleting the duplicate afterward doesn't seem to help, since the FitBit synching doesn't adjust back down again.

Actually, never mind. I think I was either doing it wrong before, or the two weren't synching right.

Tonight: Elliptical Entered minutes an cardio, entered the required starting time. Saved. Everything seems to have synched as it should :)

Fitbit has a FAQ of workouts you must manually logged if you care about the calorie burn being anywhere near close. And if your eating is based on what you burn - of course you should.

All non-step based exercise - swimming should be obvious, rowing, biking, elliptical, lifting, ect.

And if you are on Fitbit looking around, just manually log it there, Fitbit's database has a few extra items with levels or intensity, like elliptical, compared to MFP's. Otherwise the same database.
