I know I am - eager for it, as I've been staring at the scale every time I step into the bathroom... waiting, wanting to see some progress!

Remember to weigh yourself in the morning, after using the restroom, before putting on clothes, and most importantly before eating/drinking.

Try to use this same routine every time you weigh yourself, to try and reduce the day-to-day fluctuations in your weight.

Remember to stay hydrated! If you are dehydrated, your body tries to compensate by holding onto what little water it has (aka holds on to water weight). Also, reduce your salt intake will help keep the water-weight down.

Good luck with the scale!

Good advise, bwmalone! I am frankly bad at "water management". I will try to think a little bit more on that.

I have no scale at home, so I weigh at work. I dump my coat and figure since I'm pretty much a consistent t-shirt and jeans wearer my clothes shouldn't vary that much. I'll admit to getting rid of my big fuzzy boots today too. Lots of fun standing on a metal scale in a warehouse in bare feet :) I did consider pulling off my sweater too (since I don't normally wear one) but I'll be happy with being 2 lbs down, without standing around in my bra at work.

Great story, Silverdracos. You can have that of standing around in your bra at work as a risk if you misbehave ;-)
My last resource is taking off my wirstwatch. I guess it doesn't help as much as a sweater.

I'm so bad I only weigh-in with my contacts. I take off my reading glasses if I have them on. LOL Plus ALL jewelery!

@Silverdracos‌ Awesome - I'm going to have that stuck in my head all day. LOL

Your contacts? Well, that must be the very last straw. I wouldn't doubt if needed :-)
