I've been making my own protein shakes for most of the time since I started. Weekends are egg whites or bagels but the shakes seem to work best for my work days.

Problem is I'm tired of them!

What are you having? Do you prepare it ahead of time?

I've been having smoothies for breakfast. I add oats, almond milk, cucumber, kale/spinach, and fruit (depending on what I have and what looks good). So far it's been pretty easy to switch up recipes and not get too bored with them. I usually make them up in the morning- one for breakfast, and one for a snack (snack smoothies are usually more veg/fruit and just a little bit of fat- avocado or tahini). As a plus, this also helps me get all the fiber I need.
