Enter call in MFP or let FitBit adjust?

Today was my first day working out with my FitBit (Flex) on. Do I enter the calories burned (what the treadmill and elliptical tell me) into MFP or does the FitBit automatically calculate the calories burned?

Hi. I personally have my MFP settings at 'inactive' and then let my fitbit (ultra) do the adjustments for me. The only time I enter exercise is if I do a fitness DVD/Weights or rowing machine (then I take my fitbit off and record this manually).
Don't know if this is the correct way to do it, but it works for me.

Treadmill isn't necessary, it's seeing steps, estimating distance, giving calorie burn.

Elliptical yes, as it's not step based and different formula, which it doesn't use, even if it saw all the steps.

You can manually log that in to Fitbit or MFP's side, just not both. Must know the start time and duration to replace what Fitbit saw.

Any manually logged exercise replaces what Fitbit saw for calories, so no need to remove it.
Walking and running manually logged also replace steps seen and distance calculated.
