Worth watching if you missed it on 4 OD. Shows how hard it is to discern natural from added sugar which is in so many processed foods and how it is better for you to eat fresh whole fibrous fruits rather than smoothies as demonstrated by Dr Aseem Malhotra

    The interesting bit was what she said about processed foods. Anyone who reads food labels will know how much hidden sugar is in food, but there is nothing stopping anyone from making their own muesli to prevent added sugar from being eaten, or substituting natural yoghurt and fruit for fruity yoghurts, and so on.

    Added sugars are insidious but it only takes common sense to realise this and take steps to reduce or even remove them altogether from our diets. Its up to us to decide if we want to.
