Hi - I have just started using the above. Am not feeling any benefits when working out though.

Anyone else using this supplement?

Is this the ProAnox one? Disgusting isn't it? To be honest with you, I tried it as well as my Box are the UK licenced supplier of this stuff and have done some promotions with free samples. I didn't notice much of a difference either, and because it tastes so vile, and is quite expensive, I haven't bothered to buy any despite the Box owners promoting it all over the place.

I did really like their Post-Workout amino acid mix, as it tasted like orange squash and was a great way to get extra hydration in post-workout, but they've stopped doing it.

If something tastes like crap you can guarantee I'm not buying it again no matter how great the benefits.

Same! They didn't warn me either so I mixed it in a shaker bottle. Apparently everyone else mixes it in a shot glass and gets it down in one go.

^not worth it. Especially since there are so many protein/performance supplements that don't taste like *kitten*.

Absolutely! They manage to sell it to the paleo crowd though: contains all natural ingredients blah blah

I've given up on it. Now using C4 - much better.

Yes, it tastes awful. However, I have been using BioComplete for about 4 months now. Every supplement seems to have "science" behind it. All I know is that I am not nearly as sore, my CrossFit times are decreasing and my strength is increasing. For me, this is the first product that has actually worked and did what it said it would do. Just my two cents thrown into the discussion.

I tend to stay away from supplements all together. In this US they are not very well regulated. In my mind, if I can't get the nutrition I need from actual food then I am eating the wrong things.

    If I was interested in all-natural i wouldn't be eating a powder.

Completely agree! The processed foods thing... can you get any more processed? I took a similar stance to someone's "paleo" energy drink - ummm dude, it's a bunch of extracted ingredients stuffed into a can, it's processed.

That said....I have three bags/buckets of protein powders as home :)

My protein goal is about 250g/day. One shake with 50g really makes it easier to hit that number.

Hey I'm not paleo. I use protein powder like it's going out of fashion. I can't eat that much chicken!

Did find the most amazing Indian curry for protein yesterday: Chicken Begum Bahar. Chicken tikka mixed into a lamb mince sauce with slices of egg. I'm having that next time!
