    Yummm, Kim!
2 Glasses of wine. My back has been acting up again so the workouts have been put on hold and its keeping me from dropping those pounds I gained on vavation. And I'm cranky. :grumble:

Backs can be tricky. Hope you recover soon Syd. Wine should be a good muscle relaxer.

More outside painting today. I need to take advantage of the good weather while we have it.

    Happy hump day!

Good, glad that you have something to fall back on. Is the new mattress affecting your back. My friend is in furniture sales and says it takes 3 to 6 months to get used to a new mattress.

I really, really need to start working out again.

Thursday & Friday are 12's and then away on Saturday - I will promise myself that I will work out before I go on that trip.

omg no...my new mattress is amazing! My old one was sooooo bad....It was top of the line when we got it...but we did the math and realized we got it when I was pregnant. yeah...19 years ago. my kid's in college.... no wonder I was waking up in pain every morning. I'm not looking forward to the 8 hour drive each way when we get our son...cars and my back don't mix :grumble: but knowing we're bringing him home for the summer makes my heart happy.

I saw you got in the pool kim...thats an awesome workout...but it does take up a chunk of your day.

You are quite the trooper Ashley!!!

YAY Syd, I am very excited for you!!!!!!!!!

Kat-this was the first pet we had to put down, it was really hard. I was so worried about the other cat freaking out bc he wasn't there...as it turns out he doesn't give a crap....or hasn' really noticed yet?! Sorry about your pup...its so hard to make the decision!

Last night 2 margaritas. Not sure about tonight. We took off tomorrow to go to Ocean City MD so we may have some drinks while packing!!!

Ashley, did I miss the reason you're being so non lushy? I'm quite impressed!

:flowerforyou: Katie. it may take the other one a while to figure it out. My oldest would be quite happy if I got rid of the kitten lol.
You always have such fun plans on your weekends. I remember waaaay back before we had the kid and when we were young. we are going to a party Saturday...mexican food and drinks. But its during the day and we'll probably be home and passed out by 7pm lol

1 glass of wine. The back isn't too bad today so I need to get in some exercise again. Those 2 pounds are still there...:grumble:

Thanks! I'm a little impressed with myself too. My husband was advised to quit drinking for a month and have his blood retested because of elevated liver enzymes. I figured I'd be supportive; could use a break too.

My kid is only 16 monhts old, and we still do a lot, but we have plans for a helicopter ride, apps and drinks, dinner, and after dinner drinks wihtout baby in a few weeks and I'm way excited. We used to do that sort of thing (minus helicopter) on a weekly basis.....

The b!tch is back from vacation. My day was a living hell with two episodes of tears and stress beyond beleif. I hate her. I have never really felt this way about anyone.

Okay rant over. I will drink tonight but I need to do some work for my other (the good one) boss tonight. Only about an hour.

    Keep on Lushing!!!!!

Thank you Kate, mama lush and Kat. :flowerforyou: The last 4 days were INTENSE but fun. Enjoying Friday off. We work 4 ten hour days (really about 9-1/4 hr.). Very busy office. Every seems nice, and were helpful and patient with me. My trainer Sue is great. I think I'm going to enjoy this.

Sorry to hear of your kitten Kate, so sad.

Your Wed. night dinner sounded so good Kim!

SoCal glad to hear your back is a bit better.

Sorry, Mama, that sucks.....One can only pray they find another job and leave.

Well, now to relax for 3 days. Oh, and the drinking....well Sunday 0, Monday BIG glass of white wine, Tues the same, Wed 2 BIG glasses of wine (that was a test, I think I need to keep it to 1 for this job  ). Thurs night....1/2 box crisp white wine, very lushy.
During 6 days of my restart I managed to lose 6 lbs. Yea! But if I count back to 9 days from the start it's been 4. How can that be? Well in the middle of that time span I ate salty food (pork rinds), lots of them and that shot the weight back up 2 lbs more than my start weight. Gotta watch that salt! :ohwell:

Everybody have a good weekend! :drinker:

    happy weekend everyone!

I can't even remember the days I drank this week and the days I haven't.

I think it was just on Tuesday and I had 1/2 bottle of wine and a glass - 3.5'ish?? Other than that I have been good'ish.

I jumped in the damn pool on the field trip and forgot about the tube in my ear on Wednesday. So, I am deaf and it's getting really annoying especially at work. I really need to break down and get the stupid tube out. Baaaht....they want to use a shot of Novocain in my ear and that just sounds like a crappy thing to do to someone.

happy sunday lushes. YOu are all so quiet right now. I have had wine a vodka on Friday and on Saturday. I will be good and getting much more physical because my "on the move" challenge at work starts tomorrow. 12000 steps a day to earn an Amazon gift card. it runs 6/10 to 8/8 so I will take advantage of the movement to get back into losing mode. That means a lot less booze.

sounds like a good motivater, Robin!
crappy day of eating yesterday at the party. I put that pound I lost right back on!
let's see if I can get in some exercise today and tomorrow before the 3 day road trip to pick up the son.

Road trip = lots of sitting and snacking

Well, overnighter meant sleeping in the back of the car on an air mattress. No sleeping bag and only a blanket makes a cold night. I've never slept in the back of a car before (thankful for that).

Drank on Tuesday and Saturday - Nothing tonight, I just want to sleep!!

Tomorrow is casino and drinks will be had - going to try and have this be my only day this week.

I made it another weekend! It was the easiest one yet! But I WILL be having some wine tonight! Don't want to overdo it. I may overdo it a bit tomorrow night. Husband is going to a concert and I'm staying home with my baby and my friend's 3 year old. I plan on watching a kid movie till the 3 year old crashes and probably finish up with a terrible Lifetime movie. And a bottle of wine of course! Parents get in Wednesday so there will be wine poured by the time we get home from work surely. Then Thursday - Sunday is Bonnaroooooooooooooo!! Yipee!

    22 DAYS TOTAL!

Honestly, it hasn't been terrible. Memorial Day weekend was rough. We just sort of holed up. We've also been working out @sses off on our yard. And it's done! Working non-hungover is so much more fun.

Nice job on the yard...and the no drinks!

Kate it sounds like your weekend was a fun one!
I think I'm going to give up trying to lose those two pounds I gained until after we get back from the road trip to pick up the son. 16 Hours in a car isn't exactly the way to eat/exercise healthy. I see InnOut in my future and fun munchies!
