Ooh that looks really good. I would definitely be a novice but I find competition helpful. Ill ask at the box to see if they know about it - it may just be in USA.
    - just checked, there one in the west midlands, but thats it for the uk at the moment.

There are a few competitions in the UK that people from our box have travelled to. The Rainhill Trials have scaled categories but are really over-subscribed, and The Athlete Games/Battle of London/Battle of the Beasts are for machines.

So anyway it's not out of the realms of possibility that we'd travel to Walsall. 2 and a bit hours is better than all the way up to Manchester! I'm finding out if anyone's heard of it.

My girlfriends and I are doing it. They are all intermediate and I'll be doing novice. Very excited! We are all in NC

awesome. I'm part of the wolfpack too!! ;) We live in Raleigh and are doing the Festivus in Wake Forrest. I'm doing it more for fun and to get my mind off the half ironman I'll be doing the weekend after but they will be competing hardcore :)
