Please HELP!!!

Please, I just created this account and am starting to get back into counting calories. I've been in recovery for about a year and a half now from severe anorexia, but am sliding backwards. I'm so scared that I'm starting counting again and I don't know what to do. My friends and family don't understand whats happening. I NEED accountability. Please help!!!

    My best advice is to NOT count calories (easier said than done). I find any time I try to begin losing weight (and I need to as I am overweight now), that it can become a slippery slope. I start off with the right intentions but have to really be careful because old habits come back too easily. Perhaps you are not ready to be on this site? Do you see a therapist? I would definitely talk to one, it helps.

    Of your worried that calorie counting could trigger you then I'd avoid it. Maybe just try to focus on portion sizes and meeting your exchanges. Talk to your therapist or psychiatrist.
