Hi everyone! Sorry for the late start! Here is this week's post:

For those of you who want to participate in the accountability questions, challenge yourself to answer the following 3 questions at the end of every day --

Did you track absolutely everything you ate and drank today?
Did you stay under your calorie limit?

    Jan. 25: Yes, Yes, No

    Jan. 26: Yes, Yes, Yes

This is always my least favorite time of winter. Christmas and New Year's are over, but it is dark, cold, and slushy. I struggle with motivation to do much of anything during these weeks. :( But spring is coming! Let's hang in there!!

Did you track absolutely everything you ate and drank today? No, went to a friend's house, she gave me lunch, and it's always awkward to refuse stuff/think about measuring, etc., so I took the lazy way and didn't worry about it.
Did you stay under your calorie limit? Not sure
Were you active for at least 20 minutes? Yes (walking)

I don't know about you guys, but I think that January and February are the two worst/hardest months. Winter just keeps stretching on and on, and spring seems like it's years away. These are the times when my motivation flags the most. So, I just want to say awesome job to all of you for sticking with this! Let's keep going, so that we can be really satisfied with our progress when spring does come!! :D

Yes, yes, yes- lifted (leg day) and spin class

Today is one of my planned for no logging days. We have a big party to go to tonight! But, we aren't going to any pre parties and that's usually where the trouble is so I might log after all (if I don't drink too much!). I'm going to pre log three cocktails because if I have more than that I feel awful the next day but sometimes in the heat if the dancing....

    Yes on all counts.

    Started morning with a burn of 345 calories doing 60 minutes of walking 3.1 mph;

Weighed in for challenge so I don’t expect much change come Monday (my “official” weigh-in day for the last year).

Had a small breakfast (going into lunch with a negative net calorie of (-) 212); not an approach for everyone but it works for me & gives room for later.

BREAKFAST (133 Calories): Organic Strawberries, 76 g; Hormel Foods - Canadian Bacon 1 Thick Slice; Homemade - Cooked Spaghetti Squash 2.5 oz; Sara Lee - 45 Calories & Delightful Healthy Multi-grain Bread, 0.5 slice; Egg Busters, 1/4 cup

Great job! I'm going to really focus next week on being consistent with the early morning workouts, which work so much better for me.

I've been bad about keeping up with this, so will just start again:

    1/28: Yes, yes, yes.

my tip would be to have multiple alarms, for me I have my regular clock that goes off at 5:40AM and 5:50AM (I hit snooze both times) then my phone goes off at 6AM (no snooze option)

if I need an extra push I have a helicopter alarm that will launch a small helicopter and the only way to stop the alarm is to get the helicopter and place it back on the clock

    EmmieBaby,

That is great! I think my DH could really use a helicopter alarm. Except that I would probably be the one who was bothered enough by it to go and get it. ;)

Had a nice lunch with my department to a local burger place. Opted for the kids meal which is a smaller burger and fries, was just the right portion

also avoided chocolate cake in the office (office birthday party) not because i think cake is bad...its amazing...just didn't fit in my macros
