You have probably heard the advice of "just take a bite of everything" when you are at a buffet or a meal where there is a large variety of options to choose from. Research has shown that this entices people to actually eat more, not less. Other research has shown that those who limit their choices are better capable of losing weight and prevent overeating. So in short, keep it simple. When you go out, don't try a little of everything, you are more likely to overeat if you do.

    Good advice, I always start with the salad bar and I don't add all the extras like bacon bits(those aren't real anyway), etc and I only use a vinaigrette dressing.
