making your diary public - the benefits

There are a number of Team UK members that have made their diaries public.
The benefits:
1. Active Team UK members are still a small community and no one, to my knowledge, has reported abuse.
2. The MFP software is still in Beta testing phase - why do you think it is free?
3. There are issues with the best way to input cardio calorie burn data and the correct way of calculating MBR, using the Harris Benedict formula for lifestyle adjustment. This may allow you to up your calorie intake by 300-400 daily.
4. It is easier to count calories if you use the recipe facility in the software. There is no tuition module yet, so other advanced users can help you streamline your diary and resolve any issues you may have.
5. None of the community is judgemental. We do not have to be "friends" to support and help one another.
6. We all have a common purpose - to achieve our goals - short, medium and long term ones.
Thank you to all members of Team UK, who have made their diaries public. I could not have worked out the software issues without your actions.
I am not an employee of MyFitnessPal, but am an addicted user and logger of calories, like many of you.
MFP has provided a brilliant product, free of charge. In return, they deserve some support from the users.
If you can bring yourself to open your diaries to the wider MFP community, it will help us all.
I will speak to Olivia, at the MFP support team, about this, to ensure that you receive no negative messages.
Please discuss or act.

Are you aware that we do not have a group leader, as the current one has deactivated her account?
I believe all newcomers to the group should be welcomed.
You are a great Mr Motivator, and would make a great group leader. I would fully support you and liaise with MFP on software improvements, as that is where my professional background fits.
I am on Linkedin under the name "Derrick Steel". If you wish to connect I will respond positively.

My diary is open but please don't judge my excessive consumption of curly wurlys!0

We all have guilty secrets. Mine's Caipahrinia and peanut butter - not mixed together!!
We are not here to be judgemental, but to be open and transparent. I must admit I was once addicted to Daim bars - Sweden's secret weapon, but I eventually saw the error of my ways.0
