Good morning! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
So it's another snowstorm for us. I took the day off so that I didn't have to be out on the road.
My goals for today:
1. stay within calories
2. 10,000 steps
3. 3 mile run & strength

SingRunTing, how do you get your run in during a snowstorm?
My goals for today:
1. 10,000 steps.
2. Don't eat back exercise calories.
3. Water.
4. 3 mile walk
5. No junk food!0 -
We got the stupid snow yesterday, which ruined my long run plans. Today's goals:
1. Stay within calories
2. Go to treadmill class at gym (only way I can push myself to do 4-5 miles on the treadmill, which I hate)
3. Put together monthly goals
(Wow, this sounds a lot grumpier than I actually am. I'm just feeling kind of anti-winter, but am otherwise happy, so I will add stay positive as goal #4.)0 -
Good morning everyone!!!
I want to share my morning view
It's an incredibly beautiful winter day!!! It's sunny!!! I love the sun!
Yesterday was declared a rest day but it turned out to be the opposite. I walked, helped my neighbors push their stuck car, shoveled a foot of snow, etc. I'm happy to report my water intake went up to 16 cups
Today, before I jump and say I will rest, I'm actually going to make no plans other than decent calories and water. Let's see what this day brings!
Make it a fabulous Monday!!!!

Thank goodness that weekend is over! Super fun but sure can't eat and drink like that all the time. Back to normal today.
Goals:
1. Log everything
2. Under calories
3. 100 oz. Water
4. Laundry, appointments, phone calls, try and put the house back together!0 -

Treadmill.
I prefer running outside, but I put up with the treadmill in the winter. I'm too much of a wuss to run outside when it's below 40 degrees regardless of the amount of snow on the ground.0 -
Thank goodness for Monday! As I've mentioned here before, weekends are hard for me to stay on track, and I love the predictability and routine of weekdays (in terms of my healthy eating and exercise). Although I love the somewhat more relaxing pace of the weekends I don't love that the lack of routine makes me struggle with my goals.
Today's goals:
1. 10K steps
2. Log everything!
3. Eat healthy dinner (within calories doesn't always equal healthy!)
4. XTFMax workout
5. Plan out meals for the remainder of the busy week
Enjoying my packed lunch right now - I don't mind leftovers that look like this!

Had a late night unintentionally last night, so extremely tired today. So today's goals will be to eat healthy and within range (no mindless eating), completed my 145 crunches, tomorrow is the last day of my crunch challenge then I start a new 30 day challenge.
Will try to get in some treadmill time or strength time but will likely take it easy and get to bed early. Start fresh and rested tomorrow. No storm here, just cloudy, with flurries and -16c or so for the day.
Happy Monday to all!0 -
Held my own at Margaritaville today. Had a long-time planned lunch at a new Margaritaville.
I ate a TURKEY cheeseburger; very small mixed green salad with vinegar (no fries) – no dressing and a diet soda. The other person had the regular Cheeseburger in Paradise. Mine was delicious.
Schools etc were closed due to weather this morning, but I made sure I hit Planet Fitness for treadmill – since I knew Margaritaville was around the corner. LOL
Kenda -- I can't say it was unintentional -- I could not go to bed last night until I watched Black List....love Spader in it.

Jumping back into this challenge after life fully derailed my efforts. First, my best friend had a baby and had asked me to be at the birth. I live in Boston and she lives in Brooklyn, NY. This meant 3 nights in the city with the most amazing food and very little sleep. I jumped on a train home just in time for a snow storm that dropped 33" of snow in the Boston area which meant 2 snow days home with the kids (and snow day foods.) Then the Patriots were in the Superbowl and we hosted a Superbowl party....more festive food. The next day? 12 more inches of snow! I feel like I have been on some sort of weird, permanent vacation. I am SO ready to get back to normal life!!! Got up today, did a Pilates video, made myself a green smoothie and had a giant bottle of water. Time to get back on the horse. I was so happy when I started this challenge...I want to be a part of it and see it to the end. Phew!
Goals today:
1) Workout (done)
2) Stay within calorie goal
3) HYDRATE0
