Yes it feels amazing watching the scale go down  Today I did Day 8 of the 30 DS level 3 and I will go for a jog this afternoon.
I will stay within calories and try to drink my 8 glasses of water.

I just finished Day 1, Level 3 of 30 day shred. I'm off work today and spending the day with my daughter, so we might go out for a bike ride later. I'll also stay within my calories. Somehow it's easier for me to do that when I'm at home. I think when I'm sitting in my office at work I get the boredom munchies. But at home I'm usually moving around a lot, so I don't really think about food too much.

I walked a mile this morning and plan to walk another 5miles today. I also plan on keeping to my meal plan for the day.

It is so nice to see this group onthis board every morning. Have a nice day you'all.
  • Got off course this weekend again, but was able to go on a bike ride and walk, but didn't watch what I eat :( Time to start fresh this Monday so I was able to wake up early and ride my bike, another bike ride home and take the dogs out on a walk. With my husband gone this week I should be able to really watch what I eat (I'll miss him though)

Checked out my new gym this morning! Took a a Zumba class which was a blast and did some strength training afterward. I really need to figure out a proper strength routine. Right now I'm just wandering around, using the weight machines I already know how to use or I can easily figure out just by looking at them.

Did all my walks to work and back today, but focusing on my assignment for college at the moment so I'm keeping the calories low this week, keeping my walks up but cutting out the squat and crunch challenges and my gym/swim until this assignment is done. I've only got 3 questions to do so hoping I can get them done tomorrow so I can get back to swimming on Wednesday.

I had my eval session with a personal trainer. Figured it was time to change things up when I keep gaining and losing the same 4lbs in the last 2 months. Tomorrow's goal is to continue with my 5K training.

I DID IT!! I staid within my calorie goal (or 1,000 calorie deficit), Walked almost 12,000 steps, drink 8 glasses of water, did laundry, AND GUESS WHAT? I was happy today! Well mostly happy, at sometimes I was pissed off at the world, but one thing at a time right!?

    Woot Woot for me!

I reset my bodymedia and MFP, so my calorie intake in lower (however, when I sync my bodymedia up to MFP it gives me the right 1,000 calorie deficit!)

You're going to love the trainer! I've been working out with one for 4 months and it has been life-changing, not just in that I'm actually losing weight for a change, or in that I'm getting stronger, but mentally I have a whole new attitude too. It's nice not to feel defeated. I'm also doing C25K (just finished week 4 yesterday).

One of these days I'm going to post my commitment in the morning instead of saying after the fact what I did. :)

I did something weird to my foot yesterday. Did my C25K workout in the morning, and mowed the lawn late in the afternoon, and in the evening my right foot started hurting - a tight band across the top of the foot. Trainer thinks maybe a bit of tendinitis. It only hurts when I walk so my step count is pretty low today (9K) but I got a really good workout in with my trainer anyway.

Happy with my food choices today, and got in lots of water.
