PiYo is my go to

So in October I started PiYo. I had been desperately trying to lose weight to the point of being on prescription [diet pills] and having a [mini-stroke]. After that I decided there was no '[magic pill]' and I was going to have to put the work in myself. So, I found a friend that turned me on to PiYo, it was low impact so I could do it with my back (I had surgery for a ruptured disc in August) and I could do it at home, in about [30 minutes] a day. Perfect! (I have two kids, so time is golden here.) I admittedly did not follow the eating plan that came with it, but I was mindful and did not eat out. And in my first 60 days I lost 14 pounds and 22 inches. I am still working on my goals. I am still on my way. But, just knowing that I could see those kind are results in just 2 months, wow. So, I have tried some other programs and I just didn't like them as much, and going to the gym is out of the question because I frankly wont go. I am the [excuse] queen, so if I have to leave the house during winter to go to the gym, it is not happening. I love [PiYo] and [Chalene] (the instructor). She is not everyone's cup of tea, but for me, she keeps me motivated and she lifts you up, she is very positive. She is not a yelling type of instructor. I also know that if I do not have a group of people to help keep me accountable and motivated I slip back into bad habits. So I have a group of awesome people on [facebook] that I check in with daily to keep me accountable. If you haven't tried PiYo I highly suggest it and could go on for hours. If you have tried it, I would love to hear why you started, what your favorite workout is, and what your favorite pose is. (Mine is [Strength Intervals] with [Sweat] as a close second, and my favorite pose is [down dog] split as seen in the photo i uploaded for the group.) I hope there are other PiYo addicts out there!!!
