squat rail catcher height?

I work out on my own in our basement and have a big weights bench with a squat bar on the back but no catchers.
Now the weights are getting heavier I am thinking maybe I need to improvise with something and had read about people using saw horse type trestles.
Can anyone give me a rough idea what height they have their squat catchers at so I can work out what sort of size to buy please?
I am 5'4'' if that makes any difference!
Thanks for any input

I think whenever I set them up it's about mid-thigh high, but I do squat high bar so I have a little more leeway on the forward bend. It's been a while since I last needed them though, but I'll check when at the gym and let you know for sure a little later!0

If possible, purchase sawhorse with adjustable legs. They make it easier to adjust for different exercises and users.0

Do you have someone who could measure the height from the floor to the bar when it's on your shoulders at your lowest squat position? You'll want to just make sure it's low enough that you don't hit it every time you squat or bench, but high enough that you can "escape" underneath the bar if and when necessary.0
