Fitbit charge HR dispay crashed while out in the rain

I was walking in the rain almost finished with an hour walk and my fitbit display went out. I immediately dried it but it's gone. The pulse sensor still works. Has anyone else had this happen. I will try hard reset it when I get home. I have had this for 3 wks or so and its the first time I walked while it was raining. It was not even raining hard. I am very disapointed. I just charged it last night so I know that's not it.

If it does not reset I will contact fitbit. I have had great customer service in the past.

    Update. I did a hard reset when I got home and it came back. Lost my activity data which sucks. Just glad to get it back.

    Glad its still working. Suprising though as it should be resistant to the rain

    They are only splash proof. Bit of a design flaw in my opinion
