eating back calories

Hey all! I have the charge HR and so far I'm really liking it! Obviously it tracks calories burned through the day then I put it in "exercise mode" when I workout after work. Prior to this I used an HRM for exercise only and would eat back what I burned (or close to it). For those who have the charge HR, do you eat back all calories burned during the day or just exercise?

I keep those calories as a buffer. If I am super hungry, I eat them. If I can go without, I do.0

Hi I am still trying to figure out this eating back calories. Am I right in thinking if my daily allotment is 1300/day and I "earn" extra calories simply by existing thru the day plus my exercise calories, I can eat those and still lose weight? Any help is welcome.0

Yes. You burn a certain amount of calories just by being alive, plus the ones burned via movement. As long as you keep a 500 calorie deficit, you will lose.0

That calorie adjustment is merely getting MFP's original estimate of your daily burn closer to a better estimate - Fitbit. That may or may not include actual exercise.
Would you be following MFP's suggestion if it knew about the better estimate in the first place?
Yes, follow your adjusted eating goal, you got the Fitbit likely for some level of increased accuracy on daily burn, right? Why not use it then?0
