Charge HR Measuring Weight/Height?

When I set up my Charge HR today, I entered my height as 5 feet 6 inches and my weight as 155 lbs. When I was in FitBit Connect, it said my height was 5 feet 6.1 inches and my weight was 154.9 pounds. Does the device itself take measurements? If so, how? I tried looking on their website but I couldn't find anything.

    You can adjust your height and weight on the app, or website. Not on the device alone.

    It converts entered values to metric for actual use in formulas that all use metric.

    For display back to you then, it converts again. You are seeing the inaccuracy of converting back and forth when not using enough significant digits.

    5'6" = 66" x 2.54 = 167.64 cm
    167.64 cm x 0.3937008 = 66.000002112 inches.
    But x 0.394 = 66.05 rounded to 66.1 it appears.

    Same with weight.

    Thank you so much! That makes a lot of sense.
