Strength training on mfp versus Cardio training on mfp

I am recording my exercises in Myfitnesspal for both cardio and strength. The cardio is syncing with Fitbit, but the strength training is not.

How do I get the strength training to also sync with fitbit?

There are no calories associated with the strength training logging of your lifting stats - so there's nothing to sync over. Notice you didn't enter a start and duration time in those stats?

For that better estimate of calorie burn - log it as either Strength training or Circuit training in the database, depending if you do reps 5-15 and rests 2-4 min, or reps over 15 and rests less than 1 minute.
  • It did not give me an option for start and duration time in the stats. Just #of sets,repetitions/set, and weight per set.

I know. Hence the reason I said what I said.
  • does "log it as either strength training or...in the database" mean fitbit?
  • The previous person means log it as strength training under the cardio section, like where you log other exercises. Entering the number of sets/reps under the strength training section is just for your personal information and does not calculate calories.
  • Thanks to you both..very helpful.
