Ok, we're headed out to dinner on Saturday, and looking over the menu I'm having a hard time deciding. I'm not a huge fan of seafood, but smaller amounts of crab, lobster, and shrimp would be ok. So, I'm thinking a meat dish, but sides of lobster mashed potatoes would not rule anything out:

I'm kind of thinking beef or buffalo tenderloin, but so many things look tasty!

And of course, there's dessert to consider...

I'm always partial to tres leches.

Tough choice between the tres leches cake and the pot de creme au chocolat.

For the entree it would be a tough choice between the lemon Dover sole, the crepes, and the lamb.

    Gosh I'm drooling.

Hmmm.... I would go with either the buffalo tenderloin, the coffee crusted tenderloin, or the crepes. For dessert, order one of everything to make it easier.

Considering how much food my boyfriend and I can throw back, that is an option...

I'd want the creme brulee or the pots-de-creme for dessert. As for dinner-- I'm not a huge meat eater but I'd probably go with the ribeye if I was feeling safe or the coffee crusted tenderloin if feeling like trying something different.

I love looking at restaurant menus! Thanks for asking for help with this dilemma and not prefacing it by saying, "I am so stressed out, how will I ever figure out how many calories are in these meals!?"

So many great choices! I would start with the crab tower (love crab and avocado together)
I love seafood - so the low country boil and the crepes both sound good, as do the scallops. Meat wise, either of the tenderloins - maybe see if you can sub the lobster mashed potatoes for the coffee crusted tenderloin if that sounds better than the buffalo?

Dessert either the pot de creme or the tres leches cake would get my vote.

Is this their Valentine's Menu or regular menu? I've been disappointed going out to dinner on Valentine's day when the restaurants sometimes jack up the price, offer a fixed menu, and are crowded with a lot of folks who don't go out very often.

Can't wait to see what you choose!

That's their standard menu. I took my parents there when I defended my thesis and they asked to go back when I graduated. My boyfriend's never been, so I figured we'd go.

Their valentine's special is they can have flowers, chocolates, and champagne waiting on the table. We decides to skip that.

Also, i feel like that menu isn't complete because last time i was there they had venison chicken fried steak and some kind of ostrich. Those may have been specials though.
