If anyone is close enough this is a great show to see. Besides the car show, they shut down a few streets in downtown Sioux City to make an 1/8 mile drag strip. Run what you brung! Personally I like to support this because the more legal venues we have for drag racing the better IMO.

    I've seen pictures and videos from this event before. It looks like so much fun! I wish I could make it.

    I wish they would do that here. There are too many kids in our town that try to race at street lights and such rather than go to the track. The drag strip here is cheap too. I think it was $11 a day last year. I love the idea of racing down a city street, whizzing by tall building, rather than seeing a bunch of farm crops whiz by at the drag strip.
