Good morning!!
I had a rough day yesterday. I did hit my step & exercise goals, but didn't track my calories. I went over to my parent's house and just failed utterly and miserably at tracking what I was eating. It's just a good reminder to myself that I'm not perfect. I need to just forgive myself and move on. Keeping the big picture in mind today.
Goals for today:
1. stay within calories
2. 10,000 steps
3. 3 mile run & strength

Great attitude to have SingRunTing! This journey isn't possible if you don't forgive days like yesterday and keep moving forward!
I met my water goal yesterday! I want to do the same today but I'm adding in a 10,000 step goal. Can't let all my FitBit buddies beat me! Staying under my calorie goal before exercise is also an ongoing goal.
Haven't weighed myself in a few days so I am hoping to see a loss tomorrow! Happy Tuesday everyone!0 -
Like you SingRunTing, my food day yesterday was horrid. I had good intentions but I was just hungry and bored and I ate..lots. But last night made my breakfast and lunch and have plans to go to a drop in fitness class after work called Maximum Training, that will kick my proverbial *kitten*. So today back on track. But we are going away for the weekend so that will be another overage weekend, 3 in a row. But then again that is life too, so prepare, do well through the week and loosen up a bit for special occasions.
Todays goals:
Butt challenge - complete
Burpee challenge - complete
Measure, weigh and log all foods
Max Training
Have a great day everyone!0 -
Thanks ladies!
It's really all about staying the course regardless of the storms that get in your way. In the past, a day like yesterday would have caused me to quit. Now, I know that the only true failure is giving up. As long as I pick myself back up and keep going, I'll succeed.
Kenda - we can do this! One day is meaningless in the grand scheme of things!0 -
SingRunTing, good job on staying positive. I also get that way sometimes and I am glad I don't give up anymore thanks to this group!
It has been a crazy 5 days for me and it has led to me not meeting any goals and not making the best choices. I am looking forward to getting back go my routine and hopefully seeing some results this week! I upped my calories last week to try and follow the TDEE method so I hoping I actually see some results.
Goals for today:
1. 64-80 oz of water
2. Exercise, not sure what yet. I have been tired and have been having leg cramps.
3. Make good food choices. Watch sugar and carbs.
4. Make lunch and juice for tomorrow.0 -
Yes, being forgiving of imperfections is so much more helpful to longterm success than the alternative. I've been frustrated that this has been harder for me than usual lately, but I'm trying to make it into a learning process.
Today's goals:
1) Go run on the treadmill (trying to make a weekly mileage goal and I'm behind)
2) Log as well as possible and don't go over by too much (going out to dinner and giving myself some leeway for Fat Tuesday)
3) Go to either yoga or an exercise class
4) Don't stay up too late0 -
Good Morning everyone!!!
I love all the posts of the day!!! It's another day above the roses full of endless possibilities.
SingRunTing, Kenda, Krp97, as long as we are on our journey any detour is just that, a detour, a chance to catch up on scenery and learn something new about ourselves! The path is always clear and it takes us to our best destiny!!! Keep going!!!!
For me yesterday was fantastic, once more, when squats are good, life is good!!! Also, I made it to level 3 on my pull-ups training!!!!
Rest day today, so goals revolve around protein and water intake!!!!
Have a fabulous day everyone!!!!0 -
For the last couple of days I have gone way over my calories. But today, I am starting fresh.
I had a 240 calorie breakfast this morning.
Need to get my walk in yet. Walked to the post office yesterday. Forgot there was no mail Hoping to get back on track and to not have too much of a gain on the next weigh in.0 -
I ran 6.5miles today which is the most that I've ran in years!
I'm going to start eating a little more since I increased my activity level.0 -
Thank you for the words of encouragement danelutza!! After going way over in calories, no exercise, and not making very good food choices putting all that into perspective as a just a detour on my journey does help. I want to get back into my routine and make better choices. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
Good job everyone who met your goals and are doing well!!0
