Charge HR and calorie adjustment

I currently have an FB force (the one that was recalled). I was going to send it in and use my refund to get a charge hr. Does the HR measurement affect the calorie adjustment in mfp or is it just based on steps?

I'm not entirely sure, but my exercise adjustment from my Charge HR changes up and down all the time. It's kind of frustrating, actually.

For me, the heart rate definitely affects the reported burn.

The calorie adjustment in MFP is NOT just exercise that the HRM would be estimating calorie burn for.

So you can't really answer your question as it doesn't strictly make sense with the way it works.

It should tend to give better calorie burn estimate for those non-step based exercise, except lifting.

If better estimate causes you to burn more than MFP estimated you'd burn with no exercise - then of course there should be adjustments.
