Sorry if these are stupid questions or have been answered before. But, I'm new to this. First off why do my calories left for the day vary on MFP & my charge. For example it says since 12am last night I have burned 2309 calories. My fitbit says I am over my calories by 110 calories & MFP says I still need to eat 143. I have my calorie goal on both apps set to 1300 & my deficit is 500 per day. So why the different numbers? I don't log any exercise I just go based off off what my FB says I have burned & I am only logging food on MFP. Also as the day goes on & I get extra calories available from just burning calories during the day doing normal things, should I eat them back? And just a random one, what do you all normally burn in the 24 hour period of wearing your Fitbit each day. Thanks for any help :-)

Your Fitbit burn is your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure), aka your maintenance calories. Everybody's is different, depending on sex, age, height, weight & activities.

Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal & follow MFP's, eating back all your adjustments. Your deficit is built into your calorie goal.
