Not sure if this the right place to post.
I've had the Charge HR for less than 2 weeks. The battery does not last as long as the pamphlet states. I don't mind, now I just charge it everyday while I shower. Twice the bracelet has blacked out & I've had to connect it to my computer to restart it. I really enjoy the Charge HR, just not the blacking out part.......... Has anyone else had this problem?

I think there may be something wrong with you device if you have to charge it every day. My battery lasts for several days.

    I agree with @andreamaym‌

I have the Charge HR also and it doesn't last the 5 days they say it will, but it lasts 3.5-4 days usually. If you are getting 1-2 days on a full charge, then I'd say something is wrong and you should return it. I have two questions first:

    1. Are you charging it up all the way each time?
You should charge it until the battery shows solid instead of moving bars.
    2. Are you in 'exercise mode'?
The use of exercise mode takes your pulse every 1 sec instead of every 5 sec (reg mode) and can drain the battery faster.

I'm not sure which mode it is set in, but I will check. Thanks!

When you say blacking out, do you mean that it's completely unresponsive? Mine is doing this right now and I'm freaking out! Ha ha.

Yes, that's exactly what happens. With a full battery too. You have to plug it into the computer/usb and hold down both side buttons at the same time & it will restart. I don't know why it happens!

Ugh. Annoying. I am going to exchange it today. Do you know if this is an across the board glitch? Do all the CHR's do it at some point?

I've never had this problem (knock on wood) and I've had mine for about 6 weeks now, so I don't think it is a problem across the board.

Both side buttons? On a charge hr? I got mine last Friday. Only 1 button on side.??? Mine lasts 3 days at least. And is all working great. Am I missing a button though? Lol

No, the button on the right doesn't stick out where you can see it like the left side. The right side will push in.
  • I've had my fit bit now for about 8 weeks it holds a charge for almost exactly 1 week or 7 days have had no problems with it all

There is no button on the right. Can you post a picture of the button? That side of my CHR doesn't move.

I got mine to reset last night. I will definitely be exchanging it if it keeps glitching out, though.

Have you used your fitbit while doing cardio? You have to squeeze both sides to start & stop the timer. The right side is smooth and flat but can be pressed in.

I have. But you don't have to squeeze the right side. It's only the left hand button, you hold it down for a second.

Thank god for that.........thought I had an old version or something....lol

Press the left button (only button) keep it pressed you will feel it vibrate, this is it starting off in exercise mode, do same again to stop it once finished.....the FB will log that time as an exercise....

I have the same problem, won't hold a charge, screen goes black and I lose my workout and steps. I am getting it replaced.
