I think it's a deliberate poke in the eye of the (legitimate) criticism that doing very-heavy, highly-technical lifts while exhausted is a bad idea. .0

I'm also thinking that when I do this, I'm going to take the first minute to change into lifting shoes and load the bar. 6 minutes is plenty of time to get in 3-4 good reps. I figure 155, 175, 195 then I'm going for a PR.
If I fail at one of those points I go up 10 from the last successful rep.

My quads are utterly destroyed from a workout two days ago. I'm hoping that by Sunday I can give this a good effort.0
