Perform both workouts on a 15-minute clock, start Workout 15.1a immediately after finishing 15.1.

Rx’d

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 9 minutes of:
15 toes-to-bars
10 deadlifts (115 / 75 lb.)
5 snatches (115 / 75 lb.)

Scaled
(Scaled Men, Scaled Masters Men 40-44, Scaled Masters Men 45-49, Scaled Masters Men 50-54, Scaled Women, Scaled Masters Women 40-44, Scaled Masters Women 45-49, Scaled Masters Women 50-54)
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 9 minutes of:
15 hanging knee raises
10 deadlifts (85 / 55 lb.)

    I think it's a deliberate poke in the eye of the (legitimate) criticism that doing very-heavy, highly-technical lifts while exhausted is a bad idea. .

    I'm also thinking that when I do this, I'm going to take the first minute to change into lifting shoes and load the bar. 6 minutes is plenty of time to get in 3-4 good reps. I figure 155, 175, 195 then I'm going for a PR.

    If I fail at one of those points I go up 10 from the last successful rep.

    My quads are utterly destroyed from a workout two days ago. I'm hoping that by Sunday I can give this a good effort.
