interesting new concept.. I live in NYC and riding at night can get scary, so I'll definitely be getting a set of these bars. The GPS feature is an awesome addition too.

Looks very much like it's produced for the 'fixie - hipster' brigade...

They'd be illegal in the UK as any rear facing lights (other than a reversing lamp and/or indicators) have to be red in colour...

I think you can 'program' the rear facing lights to be any colour you fancy so it might work. It's certainly an interesting concept and it would get all the 'junk' off the bars & stem which can only be a good thing?!

    Thanks for posting!

I think I like the GPS feature the best.. If someone happens to get on your bike and ride off you can track them down with a phone app. That in itself is pretty amazing!

Yeah that is a good feature but make sure you take back up if it ever does happen.

There was a story over here about a guy who had his phone stolen, he tracked it via GPS and went to get it, which led to him having his head kicked in because the thieves obviously didn't want to give the phone up! :noway:

What an idiot! I would show up with police or a large group of my guy friends lol

Good luck getting the police to roll out to a GPS coordinate. Most of the time they won't.

They do it for cell phones although I dont count on the NYPD to actually do much, you would probably have a better chance showing up with a group of friends.

    I almost like that idea.

    Almost.

I solved my hipster lighting issues long ago with a $5 skull light

It has two small but incredibly bright LEDs that are either steady or blight and it highly visible.

Oh and I like the look too :)
