It seems like this group is slowly falling off completely.... But I will still make these challenges even if I am the only one that still uses them! I need them, and even if just for me and the few dedicated group members left, so be it... Wishing you all a great month of health and weight loss!!! :p

As always, credit for the verbiage below goes to Dan ;)

If you are new and want to join in, by all means do! We love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:

Name: (if you'd like to share)

My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Life time goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)

Weigh ins: What days you will weigh in. (I will weigh in on Fridays in March)
3/6/15= (Fill out after each weigh in.)
3/13/15=
3/20/15=
3/27/15=
3/31/15= (Final weigh in for the month.)

Total WL for the month=

The simplest way to do this is to find your previous weeks post, copy the text then click the reply button. Paste the text in and add your new weight.

Also, if you are quoting someone to send them a kudo or offer a hand up, please add @theirusername to the top of the text so we can keep who's who straight (very helpful when we get over 100 posts per month :)

    We have definitely been dead lately...I know everyone's been busy and encased in snow here on the mainland :P but it's time to get back in the saddle for sure! Thanks for helping to keep us going, Malia!!

    Hey buddies,

    I had a knee replacement and gained 16 pounds overnight! So not fair!!!! :noway:

    My Numbers:

    CW: 165
    GW: 163
    LTGW:145

    Weigh ins: Sunday's

    3/23/15=
    3/30/15=

    Total WL for the month=

    I'm not sure if I can lose this weight, because it's titanium alloy, but fasting for the operation also shrunk my stomach so it is hard to eat agin. I'll try to lose the last pesky 5-10 pounds which is fat....

    NOTE: on 3/6/15 = 155 (a lot of the inflammation has receded) Yay!

    3/30/15=

    Total WL for the month=

    p.s. Found out that the metal knee doesn't weigh much more than the bone one. So the excess weight was fluid injected during the operation, or inflammation and as of 3/6/15, most of it is gone already.

    I'm changing some things this month given how my weight has been going up the last couple of months and not really going down at all. So, we'll see how it goes.

    Joined a gym and starting lifting for the first time in about 12 years this week. Going 3x per week. Hurting today with DOMS in my quads but liking the results on the scale

    Malia - The weight-loss is amazing given the circumstances. It's still amazing, wonderful, spectacular, tremendous, OH-MY-GOSH-IS-THIS-REALLY-HAPPENING-news, beautiful, and perfect to have it happen to such a beautiful person as yourself.

    Some setbacks this week. Missed workouts on Tuesday and Friday due to schedule, kids, etc. Had some high calorie days. Still down overall for the month. My first bad week since starting MFP almost 2 months ago. Amazing how a few bad days just kills your momentum. Time to refocus this week.

    Much better week. Hit my calorie goal every day. Hit all my workouts. I think my number might be a bit inflated. I think a lot of the loss is water weight. Still, monthly goal is n sight and reachable. Plus spring has shown up this week and the temps aren't sub-zero for the first time in what feels like forever. All in all, a decent week.
