Accurate calorie adjustment/unlinking accounts

I've had my Flex for a few months now - been using MFP for longer. I synced the two up when I got it and maybe I should have paid more attention then because now I have a couple questions and I feel they're obvious answers but for whatever reason I can't seem to get it.
I work shift work so I'm usually asleep around 4-5pm. Yesterday when I signed off on MFP on my ipad for 'the day' it said I had just under 10-thousand Fitibit steps and a that I had burned just over 300 calories extra from exercise. I was +150 calories for the day, which I frankly wasn't too concerned about. Then this morning on my work computer I looked back on yesterday and it says I was more than 300 calories over! Is this because I stopped moving? Is the calorie adjustment a prediction on if I keep that activity level?
I'd like to keep them synced but if this is the case - maybe I shouldn't and just be manually logging my food and exercise separately. Thanks for any insight, sorry if it's a silly question!

You can shut off negative calories in your diary settings, I would since Fitbits are not 100% accurate anyway.0

They aren't turned on...never have been.0

Read this, the second section about how the adjustments work as to what happened, and how to perhaps get it to work better for you.

If you disable negative calorie adjustments, then you will not eat at a deficit when you're less active than your MFP activity level. Enable them: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings
Adjustments are the difference between your Fitbit burn (which is TDEE, aka your maintenance calories) and your MFP activity level. Click on an adjustment to see the math MFP used to calculate it.0
