Morning everyone,
YES! I got my morning workout in, even though I feel a little sore from last night but no pain no gain right? Well I have just finished making my lunch for today and I am about to log it, and my snacks. I've discovered that if I workout in the morning I'll eat breakfast, and if I eat breakfast I eat less snacks throughout the day. It's kind of nice, not wanting to eat all the time but I just never felt hungry early in the mornings. I'd wake up drink my coffee and wouldn't actually get hungry until 8 or 9, but I'm glad that's changed now cause I think it was harder to stay within my calories that way. I was never really hungry for lunch cause I had just ate at 9:30, and I over ate for dinner cause I didn't want to anything for the rest of day so I could actually eat dinner. But now it's all balanced, I like that.
Well anyways, I plan for more zumba tonight and tomorrow I get my treadmill!!!!! I'm excited about that, I've been missing my runs and my new running shoes are begging me to go run in them. Can't wait to actually see the thing lol and then immediately start using it lol.
- Alisa I had noticed a lot of friends on my news feed, who are also members of our group, doing zumba yesterday . Shanda is talking about Zumba Fitness, it comes in a box with 3 DVDs and "toning sticks" (they're kind of like maracas). I got mine at Walmart, but I'm sure you can find it in the fitness section of most stores or in fitness stores or on Amazon.com. I'm glad you made it to your daughters ok, even though you had to run (literally) to get there. Rest up and take it easy, just enjoy your time there.

Thanks for the info Kris, I'll have to look into that. I've never been comfortable dancing in public so I've never taken one of those classes but it sounds like a lot of fun.
So I am planning Christmas today. I never get to see these children at Christmastime so while they are in school I am putting up the tree, wrapping presents and baking goodies. When they get home we are going to sing carols, decorate cookies and open presents. Grandmamas should never have to miss Christmas with their little ones.

Alisa, I love the Christmas "when I want it" idea! The kiddos will be over the moon! What a wonderful Grandmother you are. I am going to put that idea in my pocket in case I ever make it to grandmahood.
Shoveling is going to be my activity for today. I tried to get to the pool but the roads were just too terrible. Shoveling is NOT as fun as Zumba but it does work up a good sweat and my beautiful Clark loves the outside time.

Alisa, I love that idea and I'm sure those grandbabies will love it. I need relatives that live farther away so we can do that lol.
Susan, I have to say that Clark is a beautiful dog, very sweet looking. I bet he really liked running around in the snow. It doesn't get cold enough down here to snow enough for us to have to actually shovel it, so I don't feel your pain on that, but I have come to believe that nothing could be as fun as Zumba lol.0
