Mark - bring on the hugs, kisses and hiking! Lol will be a long 10 hours but I can be patient.

Heron and kris, am sure you have checked there but maybe sporting good stores for edc bags? I don't have one as I am seriously new at this lol. So I have a canvas backpack to get everything around... But I have a refrigerator at work too.

So happy Friday! Here's to belts, smaller clothing and getting out walking! Hope everyone has an awesome day!

I have enough stuff that I could use an edc bag, but typically just find places for it. Like Mark said I don't go for off body carry unless I have to. I do have a small laptop case that I have used before for that though. Works really well, I can get gun, and extra mags in one compartment which can lock if need be, and put other things in the rest of the bag separate from the gun. It's a nice option, but gets used only a few times a year.

Heron...have you listened to the latest body IO/Her Body IO podcast on stress? Some good stuff there - esp around adding additional stress worrying about diet. I also loved the analogy of being in a parked car revving the engine constantly and not going anywhere. Worth a listen. And I fully agree with Kris - my mental image of you is strong, capable and pretty close in body to where I aspire to be.

So I made it through the yearly convention - of a major brewer and all our distributors without drinking a single beer. Which makes me both relieved and very sad. I do feel like I drank to much, but the gluten free thing happened. And compared to the past, I barely drank. But since first of year I've only had a drink 5-6 times (versus 3-5 times a week). So three nights, each with 2-3 drinks (cider) over several hours. Feel drained. Sleep ok - right at 7 hours each night. Which is low for me. But tons of movement and steps - both dedicated walks and just getting around the convention.
  • Good morning everybody. Short post as I have some errands to run. I'll check back in later with everybody.

Fun day! Rays, a local indoor mountain bike park, is having their women's weekend this weekend. I had to miss the women only day yesterday as I was traveling back from Charlotte, but went this morning for the small group lessons. Had a bit of a breakthrough in form. Was fun to ride, even had a hour of yoga for bikers, then more laps. Felt great. That's two rides this week.

    Spring must be close!
  • Hey everybody. Finally got on to post. Did some house cleaning today (nowhere near what I should have done, but at least I started - hehehe).

Kim, I can't believe there is such a thing as an indoor mountain bike park. That's way too cool!
