Has anyone ever done this race? Considering doing it this fall for my second half!

Yankees! Do a race in the south instead.

2015 GE Irving Marathon (or half-marathon). April 4th.
    15% off coupon. Code: 123RUN

Actually a fall run in New York sounds nice but I know nothing about it.

I did the DRC (Dallas Running Club) Half in November. I just moved to Jersey from TX. I will not miss training over the Texas summer!

I'm with ya! I did the Charleston full in January. Weather was PERFECT. 38 F at the start and 58 F at the finish. Plus, training in Ohio from Oct-Jan beats training in the winter for a spring marathon or during the end of summer for a fall one.

I haven't heard of the Hamptons race, so no help there! But side note: I just moved to NJ last September for grad school, and I've loved running out here. There are so many great races! I ran the marathon of the Baltimore Running Festival last October, and that's a really great running event (the half is really popular!) if you're willing to travel a bit southward, and the Princeton half (which is being moved from Nov to Oct after horrendously cold winds last year) which was a fun race. Looking forward to more NJ races this spring!
