Can see the light at the end of the tunnel now! Except yesterday I had a blow out day as there was a leaving buffet for a colleague at work (900 calories!) then went round to a friend's house to watch The Voice and drank wine and ate domino's pizza and ended up consuming nearly 3000 calories that day! Ouch. But I'm going to try and keep to 1200 cals a day from now on.

Ok, getting there again! Between trying to maintain and a truly manic month (with another coming up!) I've not been paying attention beyond 'try not to eat everything in my flat/mum's cupboards'. However, I have a month til my friends wedding, for which I'd like to have met goal. I know it's arbitrary, and I won't look much different to how I did for the hen do (which was all the cliche's and a very tight top, but I survived and even had fun :P ) but mentally I'll feel different.

So... NSV: went on the hen do, in the very-tight-size-too-small-neon-pink top provided, and didn't spend the whole night feeling self-conscious!

Aim for the week: 50 sit ups and 10 press ups a day. Not a big deal, but when I get home from work I'm so shattered I do nothing. I figure this I can work into my day, and it might start to make a difference/I can dial it up each week between now and the wedding. Does that sound reasonable to you guys?

I think it sounds very reasonable! go for it! its better than doing nothing! You know what I used to do, and should probably do again: do them in sets. Instead of just doing 50 straight, do 12...take a 5 second break, do another 12, 5 sec, then increase to 15, then break, 15, break...etc. until you reach muscle failure, and then do another 5 through muscle failure. Idk if that would help! I'm actually going to see if I can do that right now! You end up doing more!
