So my fitbit hr monitor says I burned like 580, but in mfp it only calculated 300 something, this number should go up as the day progresses right? Assuming I don't lay on the coach all day that is.

Your adjustments are the difference between your projected 24-hour burn and your MFP activity level.
My adjustments got better & better, as if MFP "learned" my routine.0 -
The second section of the FAQ gets in to the adjustments and why they may or may not go up.
Mainly depends on the Fitbit settings and how often you sync, or rather, how ofter a Fitbit sync really makes it in to MFP account.
Many people have discovered that after a hard workout, they do move less daily, not drastic like laying on the couch difference, but enough that perhaps 200 calories of the workout merely replaced what they normally would have burned anyway - so in essence, the workout had a net increase to the day of say 380.0
