Attracted to your own features?

Well, this explains why I like ladies with pointy ears and huge penises.
YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T TELL!0 -
Biologically we're actually more naturally attracted to those that are genetically dissimilar from us. It's a natural precaution against inbreeding
GASP, someone is being reasonable and isn't intentionally taking something as offensively as possible!! WHAT ARE THE ODDS.
Plus keep in mind that genetics don't always manifest physically.
Whoa, Lady. Down Woman... Down! I was just being dumb.
And I was being sarcastic, I kind of thought we were rolling with the joking vibe O_o;
Well.. this is awkward... O_O
to make it less awkward you two should just take your clothes off and wrestle
But... What if they have similar features...?? Might make it MORE awkward!! :noway:
My clothes are already off.... AWKWARD...
It's a bit cold in here, so things don't look like they normally would... Awkward0 -
This is soooo true!. . I especially dig women with hairy chests and beards.0

A long time ago, someone told me that people are most attracted to their own features. For example, someone with dark hair/ dark eyes are more likely to be attracted to someone with dark hair/ eyes. A woman that has larger chests would be attracted a man with larger chest (probably not man boobs) and woman with large bottom will like the same.
Ever since then, I have always noticed that most couples really do look alike. They may not have EXACT same eye color or hair color... but most could pass for siblings. And I find that I am more attracted to women with dark features like I have. What do you guys think?
Oh my God, yes! I was just thinking hard about this the other night as a matter of fact. In fact, it's my downfall. I discovered that I am primarily attracted to women with close to the female equivalent of my own looks, in terms of ethnicity, facial features, and hair color, allowing, of course for the dimorphisms produced by testosterone and estrogen.
Of course, female and male features differ a bit when they are equivalent, so that means the equivalent woman has gorgeous brown eyes that are a bit larger than mine, a slightly smaller nose and head, and the female version of my defined but not exaggerated jaw and cheeks, is brunette with straight, slightly wavy hair (my own started out straight and super thick as a kid but turned moderately wavy when I hit puberty and the male hormones kicked in).
Nigella Lawson is a close approximation of how I'd probably look if I were a girl instead of a guy (though I think her height/build is slightly bgger than the female equivalent of mine)...and I find her super beautiful.
It's eerie, but looking at this pic is almost like looking at myself if I had been born female instead of male: http://a2.ec-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/125/586d253e354e40adb909ecb3f7d79aa6/l.jpg
I forget the term from my psych classes, but we have an inbuilt drive to protect and save those who are related to us, and that also can happen when someone looks like us. I definitely would have this urge if she was in distress.0 -

Damn, talk about having a "type" O_O;0 -

I know. It's kind of terrible. But I can't really help it. I've always had this thing for brunettes. That's what I'm attracted to. It's like when I hear something played in a minor key on the piano...it just does something to me...it's a right-brain type of attraction.
btw, I still find most well-kept, positive, and kind women attractive in general. It's just that brunettes with a certain face and body structure are like off the scale to me.0 -
I have dark hair and eyes, I tan easily, I have a rounded face, and I'm pretty short. I tend to gravitate towards tall men (I've gone on a couple dates with a guy that's 6'6" and I'm 5'3") with light eyes, light skin and strong jawlines. *swoon*0

I don't really find this to be true, even thinking about the couples I know it doesn't apply to any of them. Me personally I'm drawn to girls who have lots of traits I don't (dark hair, dark eyes, short, etc)0
