I have the worst time with losing so much hair. Swear to god it looks like I drowned my cat after a shower.
My best cure is well...I cut off all my hair. Not only for that reason but also easier to clean after surgery. What solutions or cures have you found work?

I use a professional shampoo for thinning hair (Nioxin is the brand). It definitely doesn't solve the problem, but I think it helps. Hair loss is the #1worst hypothyroid symptom for me! And that's saying a lot since they all pretty much suck!0

Hi guys, I haven't yet been tested for thyroid problems but I do have a lot of the symptoms shown especially hair loss which started in earnest a few months ago but I never linked it to thyroid until I started looking around the net. So question what tests do I ask my doctor for pls.0
