I ran the entire Chicago marathon to just Nickelback. Want my playlist? Lol.

In all seriousness, I t set a good pace for me. Most of their songs are about 155 to 160 bpm.

alikonda, I love that you have Culture Club on your play list. One of my favorite guilty pleasure playlist songs is "Church of the Poison Mind". Yeah, it's Culture Club, but it's such a brilliant song and has a great running tempo. Other favorites of mine:

    Common People-Pulp
Friend of the Devil and Truckin- Grateful Dead
    Try-Pink
I'm on a Roll- Over the Rhine
    And She Was- Talking Heads
Touch Me I'm Going to Scream Part II-My Morning Jacket
    Carry On-Fun
    Time to Run-Lord Huron
    Girl on Fire-Alicia Keys
    Bad-U2
    Running Up that Hill-Kate Bush
Anything by Echo and the Bunnymen

Are you on Spotify? There are a lot of good playlists on there -- I made one called "upbeat" and listen to it whenever I'm not listening to podcasts. Here are my recs:

Gold on the Ceiling - Black Keys
Miracle Mile - Cold War Kids
    Consolation Prizes - Phoenix
    Machu Picchu - The Strokes
Do What You Want - OK Go

(so on and so forth) :)

That would certainly inspire a person to finish as quickly as possible ;)
