Just got my first fitbit! trying to figure it out! lol

I'm new to the whole fitbit thing. Just got my fitbit zip in the mail today and I'm hoping I can figure it out! I think I got it connected to MFP but I'm not sure. any advice or info would be greatly appreciated! Also looking for more friends to help motivate me! =)

    Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

    No need to log step-based activity—your Fitbit will track it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both.

    Your Fitbit burn is TDEE—way more accurate than any online calculator. If you eat less than that, you will lose weight.
