Does anyone else have a problem with inulin?

I'm really very excited because I think dairy may be back on the menu, but I've noticed something while playing around with my yoghurts- some of the ones I've reacted to have Inulin in them. Those ones aren't certified gluten free, although they have no other source of wheat I can see to set me off. So I'm wondering if the inulin is from wheat (it doesn't say). Does anyone else with wheat allergies have issues with Inulin? I was thinking maybe it was the inulin itself, but Wiki says Bananas are naturally really high in it and I eat them like there is no tomorrow.
