What does it mean for a PCOs woman when her PMS symptoms do not show up like they usually do?

Could mean anything. Women in general get different PMS symptoms, usually due to changes in stress levels.

It could be your hormones changing, especially if you've been taking action to change them (progesterone cream or progesterone based birth control, Inositol, etc). If they've lessened or gone away, and you've taken this kind of action, it may be due to reduced estrogen dominance (which is the main contributor to PMS, and why Yaz, et al work for PMDD, and why the standard pill often worsens the symptoms).

It could also be that your body didn't cycle enough this time around, and you're going to miss a period as a result (if you have more stress in your life, or made any big changes recently, this can trigger it). If you're trying to get pregnant (or not actively trying to not get pregnant, and are sexually active), then it might also mean that you might be pregnant. Or it might just be late...just because it feels like being late.

If you've started your period and you just didn't get PMS symptoms, then I'd say don't look a gift horse in the mouth and be thankful (though I understand if you're used to certain symptoms and suddenly not getting them, wondering why). If you really want data to try to find out why, I'd say talk to your doctor about getting your estrogen and progesterone levels measured, though this may be of limited use if you're already past the PMS week, since your levels change through the different stages of the cycle.
