I want to buy a fitbit device, need some advise as to how suitable this product will be. An wether it will meet my needs. I play football at semi pro level and want data when i train and when i play matches. Is there anybody else use fitbit for these purposes that can give me some feedback on how good product is and also which device would be most suitable?? Thank you in advance lol

The charge HR is one if their current best along with the Surge. Same features and tracking, just the surge does more on the watch itself. Both have a heart rate sensor which will help with giving you a more accurate calorie burn estimate. However, both suffer when the wrist moves lots to give you an accurate reading.
If your semi pro then your best bet would be a polar device with a chest strap. This will give you a true accurate heart rate reading to see how your body is performing, if its working hard enough, has capacity to work harder and also to see your fitness improve.
A fitbit is more for us casual fitness folks or those looking to loose weight and get more accurate.
That said, I do love my fitbit in a way which is truly unhealthy for a man and a bit of plastic.0 -
I have both the Flex and the Charge HR. I can't rave enough about the Charge HR. I've had it a week and I love the extra features and information! I don't like that it doesn't carry a charge for longer than 5 days, and quite frankly it has been more like 3 or 4 days.. but I can't say I had it all the way charged when I started this week.
Anyways, loved the Flex, but wanted the HR monitoring and the altimeter for the stairs!!!

It would also be good to hear about any other requirements you may have. I went for a fitbit as I wanted a 24/7 monitoring device. Seeing my sleep patterns is great. I actually know if I had a good sleep or not. Its a great motivational tool to keep moving and when you have a lazy day and you look at your dashboard it really stands out that youve been on your *kitten* all day.
I walk to the shops instead of driving (here in the UK shops are within walking distance). I take stairs instead of the elevator so I can get my floors.0
