3rd Party Applications

Hi all,
I'm new to the group. I just got my Surge (switching from Jawbone UP24). I am using the MFP and FitBit apps on my computer, iPad, and Galaxy GS5. I've always been a little confused on whether I should connect my 3rd party apps (Runkeeper, Digifit, FitBit Aria Scale, MapMyFitness, etc) to FitBit or MFP? If anyone can enlighten me, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks.

Your Fitbit tracker & your Fitbit Aria wifi scale are both associated with the same Fitbit account, so syncing your Surge with MFP means your Aria is automatically synced, too. Do not log weight in MFP—it's sent automatically to Fitbit. And you might want to change your MFP newsfeed settings to stop posing your weight.
I weigh daily & sync my Aria with TrendWeight.com.
The others I would sync with Fitbit, not MFP. It'll take trial & error to find what works for you.0 -
I linked Map My Walk and Digifit to the Fitbit account, not MFP, I only track my food/calories in there now. YMMV. I will probably remove Digifit, since I use MMW and Fitbit primarily only rarely do I do anything with Digifit any more.0
